Er bringt schließlich vor, daß er die Bürgschaftserklärung von Seite seines Bruders nachträglich verlegen werde.
I'm a little confused about the "von Seite seines Bruders". Is he going to transfer the Bürgschaftserklärung to his brother (which would seem to make sense as he is leaving the country)? Or does it mean something else?
