Puoi riprodurre il gioco di parole usando "gomma" e la locuzione "sulla via" tipo "percorre la via dell'alimentazione" o soluzioni simili.

E' una frase idiomatica adattabile ai diversi contesti. Qui si fa riferimento all'alimentazione americana ormai priva di frutta e verdura e che necessita di "integrazione" (naturale) e si fa pubblicità all'Ac 11 in capsule e ai suoi effetti benefici>rispetto a un'alimentazione carente. E' un suggerimento più che una risposta. "Rubber" si trova nei dizionari tematici o afferenti la biochimica anche come "molecola di isoprene".
