Wordfast - Find/Replace no longer works

I have been working with Wordfast for a while now and suddenly am not able to use the Find/Replace function anymore. The dialogue box opens up, I enter in my keyword (and choose target or source etc), hit enter and nothing happens. Except a long line at the bottom of the screen (something like

I opened up another Wordfast file, and the Find/Replace function worked while I had not selected a segment, and once I selected a segment (clicked in it), it would no longer work anymore. I am unsure how to get to the state where no segment is selected in the document, so this knowledge hasn't helped me.
