Compile error in hidden module: M2 Təhdid postu: Epelde

I've downloaded and installed Wordfast Classic.
However when I click on the Wordfast button to open the toolbar in Word I get an error message: "Compile error in hidden module: M2".
I'm using Mac OSX 10 and Word 2011 for Mac.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Just to make sure: did you download the current version of Wordfast Classic (6.13) and did you install it as per instructions? Have you changed the name of your hard drive (from the default, "Macintosh HD")? Are there special characters (like é, ñ, ô etc.) in the path to the folder where you copied the Wordfast template (wordfast.dot)? | | | Epelde İspaniya Local time: 23:59 TOPIC STARTER Where is the problem? Do you think the problem has to do with macros or Visual Basic?
Thanks again. ▲ Collapse | | | Reinstall Office 2011 | Feb 3, 2015 |

Macros should be very straightforward under Word for Mac: there aren't any security settings like under Word for Windows (since, as everyone knows, Macs cannot be infected by viruses!).
Wordfast 6.13 + Word 2011 + a standard (non-Asian) OS X is a combination that shouldn't cause any particular problems.
I would suggest uninstalling Office 2011 and reinstalling it. Just make sure it's a complete uninstall, including .plist files etc. (see this KB article for details). Also make sure you apply all updates from Microsoft (there are lots of them, since Office 2011 has been around for some time already). | |

I did all that and I have done it again, and it still doesn’t work.
I forgot to tell I was able to use Wordfast the first time I installed it, but only for one project. Afterwards, it stopped working.
I open the Visual Basic Editor and it says the wordfast.dot project is blocked/locked. Could that be the problem? Should I find the way to activate/unlocked it?
Thank you. | | | Project Locked = normal | Feb 3, 2015 |
"Project Locked" only means you are not allowed to inspect the code inside the Wordfast template. This is expected, as Wordfast is not Open Source software. There should be no need to go to the Visual Basic Editor in order to use Wordfast.
I really have no idea why you cannot use Wordfast on your Mac, especially since you said you have been able to use it before.
One thing you could try is creating a new user account in OS X, and installing Wordfast under that account. | | | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » Compile error in hidden module: M2 Trados Studio 2022 Freelance | The leading translation software used by over 270,000 translators.
