Hi everyone,
I own a small translation agency in NJ. One of my colleagues is a citizen of Spain, and currently resides in Spain. I would like to hire him to do freelance work.
I assume I would not give him a W-9 because he is not a US citizen and does not have a taxpayer ID number.
Would I give him a W-8BEN?
Any advice would be great. I can't find the info on the IRS website.
Thanks!
