I just finnished a project in Satellite and again started to wonder if I should finally make the decision to buy the freelance version. So I would like to ask you what version are you using and how much you paid for it (if its no secret).
Are the new versions as stable as the old ones?

It would be great if Transit would allow to save the translations in a compatible way so that the work could be used in other CATs, like tmx-format.

And is it possible to save an extract, where each and every untranslated segment appears only once? Because I let others check my translations I don't want to pay for repetitions.

I upgraded to NXT from XV, so this info may not be too relevant for you (if I remember corectly, I paid about a 1000 EUR for XV Pro to NXT Pro - but this number is very apprimate); there is a range of options for different prices. Perghaps contacting your local Star represetnation would be the way to go. Don’t know about yours, the Star Czech office is very good and friendly.

Also, I rarely pay for support contracts, but I do for Transit.

After the SP2, I do not encounter any problems casued by instablity (i.e., NXT has not crashed on me since SP2)

It does enable and - by the way - always has enabled a tmx export.

Yes, you can make extracts exluding repetitons - on the other hand it is questionable, since the same original segment may admit (or even require) different translations depending on the context.
