The presentation was excellent as usual but the video is very fuzzy. I wish I had known, when I took some of the webinars in the 100 series, that there would be a 200 series as well - then I would have skipped the 100 series. I wish you could drop the "for NEW translators" in the title of these series - many (or most) of us taking these webinars are not new translators. | | | Video and Webinar Titles | Dec 13, 2012 |
Dear Tina,
Thank you for your post and suggestions. With regard to the video quality, I am sorry to hear that you had technical difficulties. The ProZ.com training department ([email protected]) can assist with these issues in the future, should they arise again. With regard to the naming of the webinars, the webinars titles were selected so as to ensure that that translators seeking intermediate or advanced training would be aware that this is a beginners course.

I noted that the prerequisite for the 202 Commercial Law video is "Attendance at the "102 - Legal Terminology for New Legal Translators: Commercial Law Terminology" webinar". I did not attend the webinar but I subsequently bought that video and I'm wondering if that is sufficient to purchase the 202 Commercial Law course video or did I have to ATTEND the original webinar to qualify for purchasing the second instalment of the course? | | | Adrian MM. I'm interested in this webinar, but don't understand the English-language source-country: US/Canada of the webinar's presenter, UK/Ireland, Indian Sub-Continent, Australia/New Zealand etc. Surely, the terminology is not uniform throughout these territories.
