Since yesterday I noticed a problem with accessing individual Yahoo folders. Whilst I can read and reply to my incoming mail, empty the spam & trash folder, I am unable to access my contacts, sent mail as well as individual folders I previously created and use on a regular basis.

The problem is solved when I switch back to the "old" design.

Has anyone else experienced the same problem?

Yes Wenke, new version of Yahoo always gives rise to some problems. All I know is that the older version is much better and convenient..

I have used Yahoo beta version since its launch, and I must say that I like it very much... when it works!

It often has problems, in my experience.. I have had the same problem you tell us, but also other inconviences... When it happens, I just go back to the old version and.... wait! I am sorry but I have no other tools to solve the problems. Generally after a while (can be a few days, though) it starts working well again...

Old version more reliable Oct 7, 2007

Hi Wenke,
I went back to the old version after trying the beta version for a couple of weeks.

However, I'm not a big fan of Yahoo in general. It always has problems and the Yahoo Groups, for instance, are very slow to open and not too reliable.

For work purposes, I prefer Gmail, and use Yahoo (actually I use Incredimail with my Yahoo account now, so I never actually go to the Yahoo page) just for personal stuff.
