I am Lenka.

I work as a freelance translator and proofreader from English to Czech. I have been passionate about languages and writing for as long as I can remember. I started learning English when I was five and I was hooked immediately. This love for English has stayed with me my whole life. I went on to study English-language Translation and became an English to Czech freelance translator. I enjoy the flexibility of working with various clients, travelling and learning new languages.

Freelance Czech Editor for Hogarth Worldwide (9/2017)

I participated in a large in-house project in the USA for one of the leading IT companies. My role was to work closely with the Czech team to edit and proofread various content in Czech.

Czech Technical Translator at Alpha CRC, Cambridge (9/2014 – 3/2015)

I worked as a full-time in-house technical translator and proofreader from English to Czech specializing in IT.

Localization Testing Trainee at EA Games, Madrid (3/2013 – 5/2013)

I completed a two-month traineeship within the EA Campus team focused on game localization and testing.
