Bio

My background in Chinese-English translation and copywriting makes me a strong choice for translating polished business materials to clients.

As a native American English speaker, I studied Chinese language and culture deeply in college and graduate school at the University of Michigan. I taught college-level Chinese language and economics for years before switching to full-time, freelance translation.

I now also make a living as a copywriter and own a specialized marketing solutions company. My combined backgrounds in Chinese language, copywriting, and marketing leave me uniquely suited for all kinds of business translation, transcreation of marketing materials, and the last link in the supply chain that shapes dull translations into living English.
