Source text - Croatian Republika Hrvatska (RH) je 1. srpnja 2013. godine pristupila Europskoj Uniji (EU) i postala dijelom carinske unije EU. EU rezidenti vlasnici brodica i jahti namijenjenih za sport i razonodu registriranih u EU koja su se na dan stupanja RH u EU nalazila u statusu privremenog uvoza u RH dužni su, sukladno carinskom zakonodavstvu EU, podnijeti carinsku deklaraciju za puštanje tih plovila u slobodan promet uz plaćanje carine i PDV – a, bilo u RH ili drugoj državi članici.
Translation - English On 1 July 2013 the Republic of Croatia (RC) became a member of the European Union (EU) and a part of the EU customs union. EU residents who own sports and recreational boats and yachts registered in the EU, which had the status of temporary importation into the RC on the day of accession of the RC into the EU are, in accordance with EU customs legislation, required to submit a customs declaration for the release of such vessels into free circulation with the payment of customs duty and VAT either in the RC or another member state.
