I have been translating freelance since 2009 and have been a full-time freelancer since 2011. My experience includes annual company reports, government reports, technical pamphlets, personal and company websites, and more. I strive to create accurate, fluid, unified translations, working to provide the best possible impression to clients' target audiences. When clients have a preexisting database of translations, I do my utmost to match the tone and language to maintain their image. I currently live in Japan, close to my source language. I maintain current copies of Microsoft Office 2011 to ensure compatibility with clients' files and use a Windows 10 PC connected to high speed internet access. Although I prefer to work between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. JST (UTC +9), I am able to respond to inquiries from clients as late as 11:00 p.m. JST. I also keep an email-capable smartphone on my person at all times, including weekends and holidays, and generally respond within one hour to inquiries.
