Lawyer-Linguist Virtual Event – December 10, 2013 – Call for Speakers - Registration Now Open

Suzanne E. Deliscar, Lawyer-Linguist, and ProZ.com are pleased to partner to present the Second Annual Lawyer-Linguists virtual event: “A Meeting of Minds" on December 10, 2013 13:00 GMT (http://www.proz.com/virtual-conferences/457). Registration is now open.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in live Q&A with experts, and also provide their input. The live portion of the virtual event will be held in English, with on-demand content provided in a variety of languages. Attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase legal translation-related webinar content at a discounted price throughout the event. Interested participants are also invited to join the Lawyer-Linguists Forum LinkedIn Group prior, during, and after this event.

Call for Speakers
We are currently seeking lawyer-linguists to provide sessions on the following topics:
1. Working as a Lawyer-Linguist for the European Court of Justice (Freelancers and In-House)
2. The Lawyer-Linguist as CEO
3. Maintaining a Law Practice as a Lawyer-Linguist
4. The Lawyer-Linguist as Interpreter
5. Foreign Language Document Review: The State of the Industry

Sessions can be live, pre-recorded with live Q & A, or a live panel discussion. While the live virtual event will be held in English, we also welcome pre-recorded content in a variety of languages.
