After 14 years as a professional musician (Horn) with the San Antonio Symphony, I resigned my position in order to be able to spend time with my wife and daughter in the evenings and on weekends. I have a lifelong love of language and the arts, and becoming a freelance translator was a very natural next career choice for me. As a full-time translator I strive to make my translations understandable on the first read-through - even if the original is not! In addition, I have a keen eye for detail, and I have enjoyed working on QA for various projects. In my spare time I enjoy games, especially poker, cooking, coaching to my daughter's soccer team and playing soccer myself.
