I translate prose fiction (literary novels and stories). No crime novels, although I do occasionally work as a court interpreter in criminal cases. Non fiction subjects include Islam and women, hormonal influences on the brain, Jewish fugitives in Marseille at the onset of World War II, and human rights. Yes, I am an Amnesty International activist. My fiction translations cover a wide range of topics, settings and registers. The book I am working on right now is set in Montreal and Den Haag, with topics ranging from international law to neuroeconomics.
