Bio

I am a British national with a B.A. (Hons) in German, Danish and History (from the University of East Anglia, Norwich) and an MA in Applied Linguistics and History (from the University of Hamburg, Germany).

I run my own translation and editing business, Amper Translation Service, in Moorenweis near Munich, Germany, which I set up in Jan. 2005.

My main focus is on German > English translations and copy-editing in English (mainly academic articles and manuscripts for theses and books).

I'm a member of the BDÜ, the largest translators' association in Germany (www.bdue.de; ever since 2006). I take part in the association's CPD events as well as attending webinars.
