My English profession started as a licensed tourist guide (English-Japanese). Then I worked for a news agency as a caption writer. In 1990 I became an independent translator and interpreter. My specialties include architecture, civil engineering, construction, and architectural acoustics and their related fields such as bridge, earthquake, disaster, sewage works, the environment, erosion control, and infrastructures.
