I have been working as a freelance translator & proofreader since 1997, and have been a translator since 1995. Most of my clients have been working with me since I started, which in itself is proof of my professionalism, my reliability and of the quality of my work.
I have in the past worked on long standing projects in the following fields: video games, tv/cartoon scripts, software (automotive, pharmaceuticals, and many more), training packages, but also regularly take on smaller projects in the business/commercial fields. I often do proofreading for novels, as well as post-editing on user manuals. My original training as a literary translator gives me a fluency and creativity in the written language (both french and english) much appreciated for the people I work for.
I use Trados, SDL, Wordfast, and can work on/from Word, PDF, Excel or PowerPoint files, but also from faxes or hardcopies if the client requests so.
I am of course always happy to sign confidentiality agreements on request.
