ProZ.com powwow: Annual Melbourne Powwow

AustraliaMelbourneIn personEnglish
Hello to all Melbourne-based translators and interpreters!

I'm very keen to host a Powwow this year because I really enjoyed the one in April last year. Things we can talk about:

* NAATI certification and transition to the new system
* Upcoming conferences
* Payment rates and standards
* Marketing for freelance translators - I'm currently getting my own website, logo and business cards.

For the moment, the location is CLAYPOTS BARBAROSSA in Hardware Lane, Melbourne CBD, as they are good for smaller groups. This is a seafood bar so please let me know if you are vegan/vegetarian or if you are allergic to shellfish.

Hope to see you there!

Sofia
