medical degree Explanation: It is spelled incorrectly. It should be spelled "läkarexamen", not "läkare examen". It a medical degree one gets after, usually, six years of studies in a medical school. In Swedish universities it is called "Läkarprogrammet". Läkarexamen does not give automatically right to a practitioners licence - Läkarlegitimation. For it, usually around 1.5 - 2 additional years of practice are required. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 16 hrs (2021-02-17 10:52:43 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- As a position, this should refer to a physician with a degree, but not possessing a Swedish practitioners licence. As a translation then "unlicensed physician" could be a possibility. |
