Med tillägg till, gäller ... Supplementing, the following shall apply... Explanation: neither, nor IMO and as opposed to : med ändring av> as > amending..... , though I agree with the weblink answer of 'amending' for 'med tillägg till' in court pleadings or submissions where amendments are often/times an addition rather than a subtraction. Perhaps this is more of a legal question than construction or civil engineering, one of my modern languages teachers at school in the South of England telling certain pupils - query: future translators - to keep a 'civil tongue in their heads'. Example sentence(s):

in addition to Explanation: This is not really a translation issue, but a question of conventional expression of variation from the standard provisions for contractor agreements in ABT (Allmänna bestämmelser för totalentreprenad). One example found in a contract was "Med tillägg till ABT 06, kap 1, § 12, är entreprenören skyldig att ..." |

amending Explanation: **Amending** ABT 06....the following shall apply...(or, say, "advance payment shall not be approve.") This suggestion fits both your questions, making for a simple usage in (nearly) every construction context -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 11 hrs (2021-02-28 10:33:21 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- And, now I see Adrian's kudoz reference... that guy seems to have had the same idea!! ;-) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 11 hrs (2021-02-28 10:38:26 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- That is... any change to a contract is an amendment whether you're adding terms or changing them. Here, you are changing standard contract terms in a suggested form as issued by a central organization. |
