Spanish term or phrase: tigre
In a document about Central America, they say that one animal that is frequently hunted is the "tigre".

Of course this cannot be an Asiatic tiger. They specify the "tigre colorado" is the puma, or common mountain lion found throughout the Western Hemisphere. But "tigre" by itself?

The jaguar, perhaps?

In this context, it had to be the jaguar. Thanks for confirming. I'm not going to add it to the open glossary, simply because there is no way to contextualize the transaltion there. Thanks again!
