seam Explanation: It seems that laminates and coatings have many applications. However, since this applies specifically to textiles, I would think "seam." Otherwise, "seal" might also be a viable option. |

a laminate Explanation: A laminate or complex is a term i have used a lot in combining 2 or 3 plastic/paper/ aluminium in packaging for duplex or triplex films.
