Bus/Financial - Marketing / Market Research / Consumer prize draw
Spanish term or phrase: el buen fin de la promoción
I'm really struggling with the wordy waffle of this. Can anyone help please?

It's part of the terms and conditions of an Instagram-based consumer prize draw and the preceding paragraph talks about entrants entering their personal details in order to be eligible for the draw.

"Si los datos de carácter personal fueran falsos, incompletos o no actualizados, EMPRESA quedaría liberada respecto de los casos concretos del buen fin de la promoción y de cualquier consecuencia relacionada con lo anterior, llegando en último caso a la no declaración de beneficiarios de la promoción."

fulfilling the terms of the promotion
Explanation:
I would argue that successful completion of the promotion sounds more like they won't be able to carry it out because of logistics, which may be the case, but more frequently in user agreements, I think we see the statement that if the information provided is not correct the company is no longer obligated to carry out their end of the agreement, which is why I would favor "fulfill promotion terms" or "carry out promotional terms."

Thanks all, and I think this is what was meant by the text. That is, it is about fulfilling obligations rather than simply bringing the promotion to an end.

Perhaps all you need to say is "...where the promotion has been successful".

Asker: Thank you and yes, I think "fin" here is more about purpose than about completion
