Spanish term or phrase: jolota
A indigenous woman from Sivacá is describing how all her family -- children, grandchildren -- had to sleep huddled together during the outbreak of fighting in Chiapas during 1994. She says «En estos días todos dormían conmigo, mis hijas y mis nietos. Parecía yo jolota, lo viera’sté.»

My draft reads:

«In those days, everybody was sleeping with me, my daughters and my grandchildren. I looked like ____________. You shoulda seen it.»
