"se han observado daños en el brancal derecho"
It's a part of the car. It appear in a police report about a traffic accident.
I've found this:
"brancal significa conjunto de las dos viguetas largas o gualderas del bastidor de un carruaje o cureña de artillería, que descansan por intermedio de cojinetes sobre los extremos de los ejes de rotación de las ruedas."
But I still have no idea what this is in English or Spanish...

I think frame is unlikely as a police report of a traffic accident is mostly external, observable damage. Frame damage is generally observed in a body shop. More details of the report could shed light on this.

Asker: I managed to work out that it was the door jamb thanks to your comments. It wasn't the centre door pillar but the front one. Thanks for your help!

I'm not entire sure if this is the correct definition, but I found the following information:
A rocker panel is a stamped steel piece that is an integral part of your car's body structure. Rocker panels are located along the sides of the vehicle between front and rear wheel well openings, just below the doors. In fact, you lift your feet over them every time you enter and exit. Considering that the text mentions the "right side" maybe this is the correct definition, as it mentions that there is one on each side.

Asker: Thank you for your answer, but I went with door jamb as the damage is to the wing mirror and the door jamb, the rocker panel is too far from the mirror and not all cars have it. This one is a Renault, which does not have that feature. Thanks a lot!
