За его спиной сидит унылая личность с несимметричным лицом, с большими ножницами в руках. Ножницы приспособлены для раскусывания железа.
— Граждане свободной России! Покупайте на счас6 тье наследие проклятого режима в пользу геройских инвалидов. Пятьдесят рублей, — кто больше?
У противоположной стены на бархатном диванчике сидят рядом три инвалида, три обстриженных дремлющих болванчика. Они обвешаны медалями и георгиевскими крестами.

P.S. Creo que Babel está comparando a los tres inválidos con las figuritas chinas de porcelana, ¿ es así? Lo he traducido por muñequitos, pero no estoy totalmente seguro.
