There are 134 Google Scholar hits for "accentuations of character," but they are all from Russian-speaking authors. The meaning is clear, but I wonder if there is a standard English psycho-jargon term for this.

Asker: Actually Leonhard was German, but that's not important. Of course Russian authors are published in "decent magazines"! The question for a translator is how an English-speaking psychologist would say this.
