Каркасом в нем служат несущие колосники (support rods) с обмоткой профилированной проволокой. Я бы не стал калькировать термин (frameless borehole/downhole filter), поскольку это множит сущности/дублеты без необходимости, при этом в кальку на английском переносится ложномотивирующий признак (frameless («бескаркасный»)).
