Russian term or phrase: Заместитель командира батареи по работе с личным составом
Здравствуйте, есть ли лаконичный и адекватный аналог этому должностному лицу в английском? Пока что ничего лучше, чем battery executive officer on work with the personnel, но не уверен, является ли executive officer в данном случае аналогом замкома.

deputy battery commander for personnel
Explanation:
In English you can have an "assistant battery commander." In English translations from Russian and in English-language articles about Soviet, Russian, or various East European militaries, "deputy battery commander" appears from time to time.

The phrase "deputy commander for personnel" is fine in English, as in this obituary: "She was the Navy's deputy commander for personnel."

I think that "deputy battery commander for personnel" would be permissible usage.

neutral  Rachel Douglas: The first part is OK, but a "staff officer" is not an officer dealing with staff (personnel)!
