"acompanhamento" is "accompaniment" allright, but translating "desenvolvimento de habilidades de acompanhamento" requires some rephrasing, as in: develop(ing) accompanying skills (in pianists).

Alternatively, context permitting, one ca also say: “playing along backing tracks.”
