Colegas, estou traduzindo um relatório de português para inglês em que consta o termo acima.

De acordo com o cliente, "levantamento externo significa que uma pessoa contratada (de fora do projeto) vai realizar entrevistas com a equipe e outras agências para ter uma noção tanto pela equipe como pelos outros atores sobre como está o andamento do projeto."

Não consegui encontrar um termo adequado em inglês para traduzir a expressão. Procurei por "external survey", mas o significado me parece um pouco diferente. Ou estou enganado? Agradeço pela ajuda.
