Anaklitische Depression Explanation: Die anaklitsche Depression (von griechisch ανάκληση, anáklissi - Abberufung, Absage im Sinne von Entzug) tritt auf, wenn Menschen, besonders kleine Säuglinge und Kinder, sich lange in Heimen oder Krankenhäusern befinden und unter Zeitmangel nur körperlich versorgt werden. Eine anaklitische Depression kann auch im Elternhaus auftreten, wenn das Kind ungenügend betreut wird. Es fehlt ihnen an einer Bezugsperson, an liebevoller Zuwendung, an Nestwärme und an Geborgenheit und Sicherheit. Mögliche Symptome einer anaklitischen Depression sind anhaltendes Weinen, Schreien, Rückzug, Wimmern, später Kontaktstörungen und Apathie. Bei anhaltender seelischer Vernachlässigung kommt es zu psychischem Hospitalismus. Schon ein fünfmonatiger Krankenhaus- oder Heimaufenthalt kann irreversible Schäden hervorrufen.
