I nærhetsetikken er moralske handlinger ikke et produkt av rasjonelle og abstrakte overveielser, men hviler på mitt ansvar for «den andre». -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 13 hrs (2014-11-21 09:13:26 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I believe both cover the Norwegian expression, although my suggestion, in my opinion, is more widely used. As the philosopher Levinas was the person who "invented" this type of ethics, I agreed to the term "Levinasian ethics". Example sentence(s):
