hold parent meetings in a uniform language Explanation: I think this would best be refraised in a sentence. "Linguistically homogeneous" may be a difficult phrase to swallow for many parents, not to mention educators? |

minority-language parent-teacher meetings Explanation: This may be rejected for not being politically correct, but after trying various other alternatives (monolingual, language-homogeneous, linguistically homogeneous, etc) I think I might have gone for this - provided the client approved the use of "minority-language". |

parent meetings ... in their own language Explanation: I wonder if this simple write-around might be the best solution. I also like Brigid's answer but I don't know whether or how teachers will be involved given the language issue, so perhaps just parent meetings would be safer. PS Am intrigued by the notion of "minority language" being un-PC... |
