Malay term or phrase: Talak Khuluk
In a document related to divorce proceedings, I find the following sentence

"Maka pada ketika itu tertalaklah ia dengan satu talak khuluk atau saya ghaib..."

What is the English legal term equivalent to Talak Khuluk?

Thanks in advance

Compensated Divorce / Divorce via Compensation
Explanation:

My suggestion is based on the following:

- talak/talaq is Arabic for diivorce.

- the other Malay term for talak khuluk [from Arabic talaq khul] is tebus talak. Basically this refers to a divorce requested by the wife where she is willing to pay compesation for it.

- in Islam, talaq khul is a procedure through which a woman can divorce her husband by returning from the dower (mahr) or something else that she received from her husband, as agreed by the spouses or Qadi's (court) decree.
