I testify to the faithfulness (sc. of the copy) Explanation: A baptism is not really an agreement. I suspect that the certificate is seen as an extract from the baptismal register, and the priest is vouching for its faithfulness to what is recorded in the register. But I cannot support this interpretation of 'concordantia'. |
