デパートで、デパートのバイヤーがセレクトした商品を集めて売っている売場のことです。一つのコンセプトのもとで、単独ブランドの商品だけではなくて、バイヤーが買い付けたいろいろなブランドの商品が売られている売場のことです。日本語ではよく「セレクトショップ」といいますが、英語ではなんと言うのでしょう?

デパートで買い物をすることは少なくなったので確信があるわけではないのですが、これは日本のデパート文化ならではのものに感じます。日本のデパートならすぐに浮かぶ情景が、こちらの近所にあるデパートではまったく浮かびません。もしかしたら、この日本のスタイルが他の国に輸出されているかもしれませんね。

で、見たことがない人に説明する要領で a section of merchandise specially chosen by store buyers according to a concept (theme) とか、hand-picked merchandise by store buyers と、しまりはよくないですが、これなら意味は通じますよね。売り場ではなく、買い付けた商品なら、"store buyers' select" なんていけるかと思います。この言葉が紹介されている文章にもよりますが。

外商や、特設会場、デパ地下、エレベーターガール(少なくなりましたね)、デパートの食堂(今はないかも)って、日本の情景だと思います。学生時代のアルバイトを思い出します。
