Is there a translation for the Star Spangled Banner in other languages (I assumed you are from the States)? I doubt so. FYI, as you might know, the Star Spangled Banner's translated title is 星条旗。I don't think that a city's song would even have a title translated into other language, since national anthems are on the level of title translations only. |

the beginning of our days is an island country Explanation: Giving at "beginnig" tihe meaning of "origin", the text could be of nationalism intent...looking at Japan (the island country) like the starting point of all, likewise the Sun (tayo=日) is the origin of imperial Japan. Mine is just an opinion. Thank you. |
