Japanese to English translations [PRO]
Law/Patents - Medical: Instruments / IV tubing
Japanese term or phrase: 可動鈍針
Greetings,

I hope someone out there may know the proper translation for this. I am currently using "slow motion needle." I am aware that "blunt motion needle" or "dull motion needle" among other translations may be possible. However, I'm pretty much in the dark here. Much gratitude for help in advance.

Kind Regards,

adjustable blunt-tipped needle

Explanation:
I believe this expression should first be parsed into "可動" and "鈍針". I'm confident "鈍針" should be translated as "blunt-tipped needle". I have chosen to translate "可動" as adjustable, which seems reasonable to me.

agree  Kieran Bradley: A quick and dirty google search shows more than twice as many results for "blunt end" as opposed to "blunt tipped", so though both seem possible it might be better to go with this one.
