Store in a ROM Explanation: This is basically the act of putting the programs in the form of a ROM which can be a mask ROM, a Flash ROM, an EEPROM, etc. The basic idea is to finalize the version of the program and store in a ROM that is either incorporated inside the single chip microcontroller or is mounted on a PCB along with other components of the system. Just make sure that people are talking about putting the software in the hardware that is either permanent or is semi-permanent. ROM化 rarely ever is used for recording in a CD-ROM. |

ROMed system Explanation: 単独で使われているでしょうか?ROMedという単語もしばしば見られます。「ROMにした」というニュアンスであれば「Put in ROM」もありかと思います。Storedでは単に記憶した行為を意味するようにも受け取れます。 |

Reference: Needs more context first (because it's very context-sensitive) Reference information: ROM is basically - Read Only Memory. (Check Wikipedia) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Read-only_memory 1. ROM化 in - how motherboard/circuit boards, etc works or designed. Here what ROM化 means depends on what is aimed or achieved (and how). You might need to understand what's achieved by using ROM (stability, speed, security, etc than using RAM, HDD etc) there. ex: www.accelmpc.co.jp/japanese/product/manuals/68k-4.pdf ex2: http://www.algosystem.co.jp/smart_support_word_o-01.html 電源をOFFしたときに初期化される仕組み(ROM化) ex3: http://jp.misumi-ec.com/tech/el/fpc/rom.html 2. ROM化 in DVD (as subject domain in Japanese...) http://kettya.com/notebook2/report_det.php?key=nx4300 http://detail.chiebukuro.yahoo.co.jp/qa/question_detail/q142... ロム化とはDVD+RのBookTypeを変更し、まるでDVD-ROMであるかの ようにする加工のこと Not very likely. But possible. 3.ROM化(ロム化)in cellphone Least likely but as FYI. http://oshiete1.goo.ne.jp/qa663935.html |
