Japanese term or phrase: 身辺処理
Could anyone help me to understand the meaning of this term in the following context? I'm working on some guidelines for elementary special support schools. This is part of some incremental goals for the 生活 subject at elementary schools.

日常生活に必要な身辺処理を求めたり,教師と一緒に行ったりする。
教師の援助を受けながら日常生活に必要な身辺処理をする
日常生活に必要な身辺処理を自分でする。

Many thanks,

Nicholas

In Educational discussion, it seems that "self help (or self-help) skills" is the term often used in English to mean kids taking care of themselves.

Good luck!

daily-life management

Explanation:
Though this term is my creation, 身辺処理 means management of the people's ordinary life. For primary school students, this includes such as waking up early (on time), not being late, submit homework correctly, bring handouts to their home, and cleaning classroom correctly.

I attach some url (in Japanese).

Asker: Thank you for your explanation and the website. I now understand the meaning of 身辺処理 for elementary school kids. I'm still a bit puzzled about how they can "request daily-life management" though (身辺処理を求めたり)
