Japanese term or phrase: テ)
At first, I thought this was something like the a), b), c) of a list, but it always appears alone. Only one appearance (if at all) in each different section (lip color, eyeshadow, foundation, etc.). Other organizing symbols used in the text are circled numbers (①, ②...) and ※, as well as small bullet points (・). But I'm not sure how to treat the テ).

For example:
テ)リップカラーの落とし方

This is a guide to a training DVD, if that helps.
Thanks very much!

Explanation:
It could be an abbreviation of any number of things. Since if this is a script for a training DVD, it could be an abbreviation for テロップ.

Since this accompanies a DVD, this makes the most sense -- it must be pointing out the words that appear on the video at the place it's discussing. Thank you so much!

Theme or technique

Explanation:
We usually don't use テ like this. Since this is from a training DVD and it appaers only one time in each section, I guess it is an abbreviation of theme or technique. However, if you would like to make sure about the meaning, you should ask to your client or agancy.

I hope this will help. Good luck!

Technique; how-to

Explanation:
My guess is that it can be an abbreviation for テクニック if it's a list like, for example, "beauty tips - how-to's - recommended products", something like this.
