すりたて means "freshly ground".

There are two types of sesame seeds that are usually used for cooking: いりごま roasted sesame seed and すりごま ground sesame seeds. People used to grind sesame seeds at home, but it has become more convenient to buy sesame seeds that are already ground, just like coffee beans.

  -> 確かに仰るとおりですが、ground roasted sesame seedsとはあまり言いませんので(+冗長)、roastedは割愛しました。goolgeのヒット件数も圧倒的に少ないです。また、質問と私の回答をよく読んでいただければ、freshlyは「ひきたて」の部分にこそ必要ですが、「すりごま」には必要ないことは自明です。それにしても最近は家庭でごまをする人って少ないですよね...私はすりこぎですってますが(笑
