ZIP code or Address/location with ZIP Explanation: I think, if there are other fields provided in the form for mentioning the address, then this field asks only for the 'ZIP code'. If not, entering both (address & ZIP) is expected. Also, from the size of the field, you can make out if it asks to enter only a ZIP or a full address. Then depending upon suitability, you can say just 'ZIP' or 'ZIP code' or 'address/location with ZIP'. For 所在地 you can see: http://shinchiku.homes.co.jp/words/index-s1/word-10000230/ http://eow.alc.co.jp/所在地/UTF-8/?ref=sa |

Address: Explanation: I believe the 〒(zip code mark) has been inserted to ensure that the zip code is also written down in the section, as a lot of people forget to do so when filling a form. The reason it is written next to 所在地 is simply because in Japan 〒, or ZIP code, comes in front of the rest of the address. |

Addrress plus zip code Explanation: This is a typical Japanese format of listing or stating your address. The 〒 symbol stands for 郵便番号, a zip code. Example: 所在地〒 101-0001 東京都千代田区千代田1-1 In English, the above would be: 1-1, Chiyoda, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan, 101-0001. In Japanese, usually the zip code comes first. |
