Bonsoir !

J'ai un doute quant à la traduction du terme "salto" dans le contexte de centrales hydroélectriques.
Je pensais à "cascades" mais on trouve dans les archives de proz "hauteur de chute"...
Qu'en pensez-vous ?
Voici la phrase complète:
"Il salto detto “dei Marchesini” di S. Quirico ha una storia movimentata e di lunga data, purtroppo di difficile ricostruzione. Sembra comunque possibile affermare che, in quel tratto di torrente, l’acqua dell’Agno fornisse l’energia necessaria al funzionamento di alcuni opifici proto-industriali, almeno a partire dal Settecento".

disagree  Patrick Arbaut: Le dénivelé, c'est juste une différence de niveau entre deux points, rien d'autre, ci cette différence conditionne bien le déplacement vertical d'une masse d'eau, eau et dénivelé ne sont pas systématiquement associés
