I don't think this last sentence works with this, I was going to with being a man and musician are incidental to Aristoxene, simply that but not sure if there is a better way of saying this, help much appreciated thanks

I'm thinking appartengono might mean something along the lines of "are properties of", and incidentale/incidentalmente probably means "accidental(ly)" (in contrast to essential(ly)). But way more context is needed to suggest something concrete.
