I'm confused by the phrase as normally 'stacco' means 'gap or 'break' but it doesn't seem like it means this here - or do you think he does insert a 'break' at a certain point in the music? It sounds more like 'his hallmark style on the music' (which is unmistakeable) but that's really just a guess.
