IV (interventricular) delay Explanation: IV = Interventricolare -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 20 mins (2019-08-29 18:56:37 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- "Activation delay may occur between the ventricles or portions of the ventricles (interventricular delay), within the terminal Purkinje fibers and/or ventricular myocardium (intraventricular delay) or between layers of the heart (intramural delay) [1]." "There was a significant correlation between the aortic pre-ejection time interval and the interventricular delay (r = 0.48, p = 0.03) but not the intra-LV delay (r = 0.26, NS)." I suppose this could stand for "INTRA-ventricular" delay, but this usage seems to be less common. IV is found in Acromed: http://acromed.blogspot.it/ |
