Tech/Engineering - Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.)
Italian term or phrase: listellare
***listellare*** di massello impiallacciato - a single line entry in the technical description of the materials used in a bookcase

There are three KudoZ entries that translate listellare as "blockboard" so, I am uncertain what role "di massello" plays here. If it's veneered solid wood, why the blockboard? Or, in this case perhaps listellare means plank or slat?
I found a table top on line (Tavolo Lucienne) with the same description and it does look like it could be made of veneered wood planks.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

English translation:veneered laminated wood
Explanation:
I think they are referring to boards made by gluing solid wood slats together. By mentioning the massello they are emphasizing the fact that this is an engineered product made of solid wood; it is not chipboard of strand board.
